Access to Finance

Creating awareness about institutional finance, grants, soft loans, investment opportunities and alternative financing mechanisms.

Why it matters

We seek to bridge the gaps between ideas and opportunities, entrepreneurs and finance, enterprises and markets, education and entrepreneurship, and local businesses and global networks.

Micro and small enterprises often face challenges relating to finance, technology, market access, professional guidance, skilled manpower and global connectivity.

What GEDC aims to do

  • Improve Access to Finance

Advocate accessible and entrepreneur-friendly funding mechanisms, including grants, soft loans, credit, investment, and alternative financing.

Dates, schedules and registration for this area will be published here once confirmed by GEDC.

One movement, ten areas of work

To build a globally connected and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem where every aspiring entrepreneur has access to the knowledge, resources, finance, technology, markets, mentorship, and networks required to transform ideas into sustainable enterprises, create employment, and contribute to economic and social progress.
